Fashion week and mature women

Although the calendar gave the date of February 19, today Milan fashion week starts.

The first day  Gucci, Alberta Ferretti, Jil Sander, N21, big names in luxury fashion, will show their collections, will we be able to see something new?

Will mature women be represented by Italian brands?

Over the last few days I had a post on the mature models on social media, the question was: do you approve the participation of mature women on the catwalks?

All the women who have interacted with the post have declared themselves to be favorable, indeed some have expressed the desire to be their own protagonists.

Until a few years ago it was unthinkable that a model over50 and over was on the catwalk, now the appreciation for these models is unanimous among women.

The big talk by media about greynassence, women over 50 are the protagonists of fashion, it is slowly entering even in the world of fashion weeks.

During those of New York and London, there were several mature models, and for those who say that fashion must embody the dream, look at the model that has closed the Vivienne Westwood show and tell me if the dream is “ruined”.

For us mature women it has become important to see our peers on the catwalks, for men (at least for some) it is still something that they cannot appreciate …

Waiting to see the Milan fashion shows, I show you the beauty of the over50 models that have showed at New York and London.
