Where to find the shop for those who love vintage prints

Beautiful Mrs Sabine in La Double J dress

For those who love vintage prints until Sunday, the temporary store of La Double J will be in via Manzoni in Milan.

La Double J was created in 2015 as an online sales platform dedicated to vintage; currently the brand sells new clothes with archival prints, home design items, and rare vintage jewelery and clothing.

The founder, fashion journalist Jennifer Jane Martin, an American born in Milan for a long time, is a passionate vintage collector and personally follows the search for prints in the archives of the most important textile factories.

All the designs and fabrics on which they are reproduced are from Mantero. The beautiful clothing, with prints and style that change every two months, are made entirely in Italy.

The Double J temporary store in Milan

I had visited the web site many times, but I need to try clothes before buying them, because not all the things I like are okay on me.

Two days ago, photographing the fascinating women in the Milanese streets, I met and asked to take pictures of the wonderful lady and brand director Mrs Sabine, who showed me the temporary store  La Double J in Milan, opened only for 10 days.

As you can imagine I went to browse inside the store and saw some very nice things, starting with prints and shapes of clothing, not to mention the furnishing accessories. I wanted to try on everything and buy it all!

Trying to limit my enthusiasm I chose a skirt and shirt that I will show you shortly.

If you are in Milan I recommend going to take a look at the temporary store because today is the last day of opening; if you cannot, go to the site that, structured like an online magazine, is really enjoyable.

If you want to order something, my advice is to take a bigger size than yours for shirts, your size for the rest.

Also remember to look at vintage jewels, really unique and fascinating. For those who love beauty, but not homologation.
