Linda Rodin, icon of beauty, who tried to become a photographer at her very beginnings, than she ended up becoming a stylist.

This 69-year-old amazing woman has worked for 35 years in fashion industry as a stylist for the main players (Harper’s Bazaar just to name one), since in 2007 she founded her Rodin skincare line – RODIN Olio Lusso.

Everyone knows her for her unique and sophisticated way to wear jeans, her very big love. In fact, she’s a self-professed denim fanatic.

So, what about a 60-something-year-old who cannot give up wearing jeans?

“You know, I’ve been wearing jeans for 60 years, since I was six,”

said Linda Rodin to Jean Stories.

You can really wear jeans for the rest of your life and they will never go out of style,” she said. “Denim will never die. It can’t. It’s too classic.”

She remembers her first pair of jeans, the ones that she consciously bought in 1967:

“Landlubbers came into fashion. I remember going to a store in New York – I grew up on Long Island – it was on Lexington Avenue and 60th street, and it sold wall-to-wall jeans, and I bought brown Landlubber bell-bottoms there”.

Since that moment she collected it all, designer denim pieces from Comme des Garçons, Lanvin, Junya Watanabe, as well as from more contemporary brand like Rag & Bone and Acne.

I’ve always been a denim girl. Thanks @uniqlo!
